Ireland was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in a small farming community before moving to Southern Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona, graduating in 2019 with an Honors degree in English. She has a passion for community work, mainly surrounding housing, land studies, international indigenous law, urban indigenous studies, rural outreach, and increased access to justice work. She is of Irish, Mexican, Apache, and Spanish descent. She aspires to become a practicing attorney and policy researcher. She has previously worked on housing-related legal studies, and currently is a legal intern with Southern Arizona Legal Aid. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering, and getting outdoors.
